In the construction of HORTUS, we try to keep resource consumption to a minimum. We rely as much as possible on local, renewable or recycled/recyclable building materials. And we are planning cycles in advance. Wood as an abundant building material, which grows and is managed in the vicinity, was an obvious choice.
